to realise that an instrument is not a fashion accessory. If a case
looks old it can be upgraded in the future. It is the instrument it
houses that counts. For example, we have sold literally hundreds of
reconditioned Boosey and Hawkes ‘Regent’ Clarinets for £195,
which are of a far superior quality than the sort of models in that
price bracket you see advertised as ‘Bargains’ on web sites
and in other shops. Instruments are more obtainable now than they ever
have been, and from places that, in fairness, don’t have the
experience or offer the same range as ourselves.

Secondhand Musical Instruments Imported From The USA
For over 25 years now we have been traveling around the USA buying
up all the 2nd hand musical instruments we can find. Once back in England
we set about the task of reconditioning our spoils. On an average trip
to America we buy about 400 – 500 second hand instruments. We
bring back a wide variety of instruments which include;
Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Oboes, Bassoons, Trumpets, Cornets,
Trombones, Tenor Horns, Euphoniums, Tubas and Guitars With makes such
as Yamaha, Gemeinhardt, Artley, Buffet, Vito, Corton, Bundy, Armstrong,
Buescher, Selmer, King, Conn, Benge, Bach, Schilke and many more!
The majority of the used instruments we return with are of student
or beginner standard, but each trip turns up a least one gem, such
as a MkVI Selmer alto saxophone or Bach Strad trumpet.Our reconditioned
used instrument complete outfits start at £150 and are covered
by a 12 or 24 month guarantee.
